REMINDER & URGENT UPDATE
Nighttime Two-Lane Closure on State Route 29 from Sequoia Ave. to Mini Drive (Solano/Napa County Line) in Vallejo, Solano County
Schedule: Monday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following mornings
SOLANO COUNTY – Caltrans continues to pave State Route 29 (Sonoma Boulevard) a 6-mile stretch from Calpoly Maritime Academy to Solano/Napa County Line.
Lane closures are necessary to complete major pavement work and for the safety of the crews and public. Two lanes will be closed, and one lane will always be open for traffic. Closure start times are 4 p.m. on Oct. 16 and 5 p.m. beginning Oct. 19, allowing crews to work on curbs, medians, and lighting in addition to paving.
Schedule:
Nightly- Monday through Friday
Oct. 16- 4 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following mornings.
Oct. 19 – Oct. 23 – 5 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following mornings.
10/13 to 10/19 – Segment 1 (Sequoia Avenue to Curtola Parkway) will be paved.
10/19 to 10/23 – Segment 2 (Curtola Parkway to Mississippi Street)
What to expect?
Pedestrians should be aware of detours due to closed off areas. If pedestrians need to cross while work is happening, please make a worker aware, and they will assist you in getting across the street.
When grinding and paving is occurring adjacent to the sidewalk alleys and parking zones will be closed on a rolling basis. Motorists are advised to avoid the area or use alternate routes in the areas with closed alleys.
