55 Hour Closure of Solano Ave/Spring Road – Interstate 80 (I-80) On-Ramp Vallejo City, Solano County

April 17, 2026, at 07:00 PM to April 20,2026 at 05:00 AM

 

SOLANO COUNTY  –  Caltrans Construction continues to upgrade lighting around Solano County. To ensure worker and public safety, a full closure is scheduled of the Solano Avenue/Spring Road On-Ramp to Westbound (WB) i-80 in Vallejo starting on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 07:00 PM and opening on Monday, April 20, 2026 at 05:00 AM. Caltrans will be constructing curb ramps and installing new traffic signals at the intersection of Solano Avenue/Springs Road and the WB I-80 On-Ramp.

End – April 20,2026 at 05:00 A.M

Detours:
Motorists:

Westbound Solano Ave Detour:
Motorists traveling Westbound on Solano Avenue will need to turn right onto Mariposa Street, right turn on Tennessee Street and a right turn onto the WB I-80 on-ramp.

Eastbound Solano Ave Detour:
Motorists traveling Eastbound on Solano Avenue will need to turn left on Mariposa Street, right turn on Tennessee Street and a right turn onto the WB I-80 on-ramp.

Southbound Mariposa Street Detour:
Motorists traveling southbound on Mariposa Street will need to turn right on Solano Avenue, left turn on southbound 14th Street and a left turn onto the Campbell Street WB I-80 on-ramp.

Pedestrians will be detoured to use the opposite side of the road via signage on barricades.
